Does silicone have any place on a travel trailer?

Hi, I saw a post on FB where a guy had some GE silicone in his "emergency stash" of sealants. I went out and bought what he had. However, now I see people saying NOT to use silicone. Can I use thi...

Silicone on an RV exterior? Sure, despite what you read, no problemo as you can see in these pics. Make sure to get the "RTV" stuff, it's made for recreational vehicles! Check out this awesome & short silicone DIY how-to vid clip.



Actually, I take back the above. :W There are few places in a TT silicone could be used like maybe in a shower stall.
