You've really got to try a TC before buying it (and an RV too). I have both and RV and a TC. The TC is a big compromise compared to the RV. Where I've found the most compromise is in what I'll call "relaxing options." You either lay almost flat on the bed to relax (from where you watch TV) - which is awkward, or you sit at the kitchen table - which is constraining. The table area in our TC is higher off the floor than in our RV and not as comfortable. The RV has additional padded "living room" chairs that are comfortable.
Obviously, this all my personal experience, but you need to see what your personal experience is before the big commitment and then a life on the road with that choice!
