As I was typing some new posts appeared so I thought of some additional minor points.
Get 4 weeks of underwear and T shirts, etc. Those items take very little space and do cut back on Laundromat visits.
RV travel can be very inexpensive. With a senior pass there are no entrance fees for national parks and camping is half price. For the 2 years I was a full timer, I traveled a lot and spent about $1000 per month on fuel. I averaged $7 per night for camping. Most of my camping was at national parks, national forests and some BLM or other dispersed, free camping. I rarely stopped at places like RV parks. It was not the money, just a lifestyle choice. I hate RV parks. On the road I typically stopped at Walmart or a truck stop. A propane tank refill averaged about $15 and a tank typically lasted me close to 2 months. My wife and I saved a ton of money camping instead of living in a house. On top of that we sold the house and that money grew due to investments.
