Does X chocks help stablity?

The X-Chocks work really well on the narrower configuration. I have my doubts about the ones made for the new wider stance dual axles. Seems the narrower contact on each tire and the leverage with the length between tires would be a problem. I'm looking at the Flashway One step for the wider axles.
I think Terry might be refering to the Lock and Stop. I can't see that one providing much help for anything.
