That was my thought, after having a FW with the heat strip many years ago. Just a small electric heater would put out much better heat.

for my square footage and based on reviews one of the Lasko ceramic heaters might be worth a try
I went with the Lasko 754200, best selling unit on Amazon and it has been much better than the previous two units I bought at the local big box store.
