Dometic fridge not working

It’s been a couple of years since I used my 2008 Outfitter Apex 8. I’m cleaning it up to start using it again. Everything works except the Dometic fridge. It doesn’t come on at all. Its been wired where it only operates on 12 volts. I’ve check and I have 12 volts to the board. Where do I go from here. Thanks

  • I’ll see if I can figure out where to check the element and look for a fuse. Like I said though I have 12 volts going into the board now.
  • Yes great batteries. I have 550 watts of solars on the rrof
  • I don’t see any ammonia residue. Nor have I smelt any.
  • There is no control panel. Just a thermostat control on the back wall inside the fridge.
  • Is your panel having control lights?
When they don't come on and the you have 12V on board fuse, the board is bad.
  • If you are not using gas but only 12v to heat the element, I would check for 12v at the heating element. Those can be replaced. Do you see any signs of ammonia residue? Leaking ammonia is a somewhat common issue with older units.
  • Model of the refer?
Does it have any LEDs on the eye brow?
    Hard to answer without model.
Have you checked all the connectors on circuit board.
You said 12 volts, does this mean 12 volt element or propane? If only 12 volts DC, element could be burnt out or 12 volt 30 amp fuse
