Sorry for your troubles OP, but this is a good example of why being brand loyal can be problematic. Just too many issues that can, and do happen. Painting all Dodge/Rams together, and calling for a boycott is hasty though IMO. If you could afford a new one I'd be willing to bet you would love it, but you can't, so you're frustrated. Understandable, but come on.
Since there are many happy Dodge/Ram owners on this forum, I think you picked a bad place to rant. I mean if you and ricatic had your ways there'd only be one brand left for us all to buy.
