Isn't Mopar Powertrain a division of Chrysler ? I don't know the details of Chrysler, but I'm assuming that Mopar Powertrain is part of Chrysler. Do you know if tis is the case ?

I think the more interesting part of the story is that he bought the transmission through a non-Chrysler dealer/outlet. He said there was a 3 yr warranty, but it would be unusual, I think, for Chrysler to warrant the remanufactured part that they did not sell and they did not install. More likely the seller provided the warranty.
If he had bought the transmission from a Chrysler dealership, they installed it, gave a 3 yr warranty and now denied it, I'd have a different opinion on the matter.

That's why I asked what was High Gear out of TN response?
They sold it to OP and OP hasn't answered that question
