I don't understand the business model, but I think it's to get a greater volume by selling to independents as well as dealers. It did come with all the paperwork. And they did cancel it. Since they charge almost twice the price of the jobbers, they give 3yr/100,000 mile.
It gets worse, the tranny shop was quoted $1900 for the 1to2 synchromesh set, but they are on back order with no availability date. He got the same back order date for a factory reman.
Except for Nathan at Mopar, everyone I've dealt has been great, Bob's, High Gear, Rairdon and Bart's.
There isn't much market for trucks without trannies.
