I think that Ram is the only manufacturer that offers a manual in a 2500/3500 truck...I prefer the automatic...So I would only purchase an automatic anyway. Sounds like the used truck was abused to be begin with..the rest, well, I'd be ticked also.

OP, hope you get the truck fixed to your liking, or can get rid of it and get what you want.
