Mine was 38 months old when I got it, registered to a dealer, but it wasn't a lease. I went over all the warranty details with the dealer BEFORE I bought it. The 3/36 was already over and Mopar doesn't transfer the extended power train on a previously leased vehicle but I was OK with my truck. It sounds like another case of buyer-beware when buying used. Sorry for your bad luck but your sob story won't affect me in the least when I need another truck. I've had 4 great Dodges and that's all I will have after owning the other two big brands. BTW, my FIL has the same truck as yours... 6.7 G56 and it is golden! Craig
