Grampscamper has the right idea. If anyone thinks a "torque wrench" sounds too technical or beyond your ability, it isn't. My 66 year old wife can use one. If you don't have one, get yerself to the Sears store or Harbor Freight Tools and pick up a 1/2" drive click-type torque wrench (usually 50-150 foot pounds of torque). You may also need a 3" socket extension a to compensate for deep hubs, and of course, a lug socket. The wrench will cost you around $40 or $50 depending on where you buy it. Don't worry, it WILL pay for itself in the long run.
