Double Alternators
Would most agree that on a Diesel, the option to have double alternators is a good idea if the option is available? Your thoughts please.

I opted for the 220A alternator on my truck when I ordered. 180A was standard. I figured with the heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, and blower fan on high in the winter, it could use the extra juice.
I didn't bother with the dual alternators. IMO, that's only needed for work applications, not personal use.
