Yup that's normal. A teenie tiny opening to drain the fresh tank.
If I am in a hurry I just open up the "cold" kitchen faucet full force if I want it to drain into the gray or open up the "cold" bathroom faucet which empties into the black. This is done with the water pump on not shore station water hookup.
If you are doing this at home I'd pick what ever faucet drains into the gray tank so you can dump the now filled with fresh water gray tank.
Using the coach faucets really cuts the time it takes to drain using that darn small gravity drain valve.
