driver side brakes heating up way more than pass side

Since this is my first post, mods, please move it to the appropriate section if this is not the right area. Recently, we had an issue with our Pace American 24' enclosed car trailer with the brakes...

I know this is too simple but have you checked the emergency brake switch to make sure it isn't powering the magnets? If you had one side where the brakes were set light and have the usual daisy chain wiring, I guess it's possible to only burn up one side.
