driver side brakes heating up way more than pass side

Since this is my first post, mods, please move it to the appropriate section if this is not the right area. Recently, we had an issue with our Pace American 24' enclosed car trailer with the brakes...

You might want to review the position of the brake shoes, there is a primary and secondary.

Also be sure that the brake assemblies are installed correctly right and left.

It sounds like you are not a novice. Perhaps you could post photos of the damaged parts as well as any view that might give us a clue.
