I used the cover several times but it was a pain to put on . I had a metal cover installed, much better way to go. Make sure you have it high enough and wide enough the first time rather than later having it raised and enough room to open the slides to work or ? in the RV. I went to a 5th w later and had to have it raised. I have to park within 2 " of the drivers side to open the RV door
