i had the same question about a year ago and I decided on no cover at all. One logical answer I got was, how do you see them at dealers? No covers, out in the open. I figure if I'm camping, and it rains or snows or whatever, what difference is it if I'm using the TT or not?
One thing I do for long term storage is wheel covers and an AC cover, to keep the sun off and help keep debris/leaves/pine needles out of the AC. I also don't keep it plugged in, just check the batter every couple weeks and charge up if necessary. I pull the fuse on the battery so there is no radio or smoke alarms etc slowly draining the battery.
