This thread leaves me with some concern. I'm new to this and recently purchased a 2016 2500HD which weighs in around 7300lbs. The camper I just bought is 2100lbs. This puts me at roughly 9400 dry weight and I haven't put my fat A$$ in the truck yet. As I said I'm new to this but I would consider the beaches in NJ to be soft sand. I do bring the tires down to about 15lbs which leaves me with a pretty wide foot print. Should I have concern with getting bottomed out and stuck...man that would be embarrassing. :o
