DROP HITCH OR FLIP?

Should probably let me take the truck off your hands (at a barging since your in a jam) so that you can get a lower truck

I had no choice but to do an axle flip on my fifth wheel to get it leveled with adequate rail clearance, and it wasn't a tough job. I did it myself and the hardest thing was just getting it all jacked up high enough and still stable.

Anyway, since it's a pretty easy job I'd give it some thought if you ever travel in rough terrain where you could risk dragging and tearing something up. I don't think it'll have much of an impact on fuel economy.

If you flip the axles you're probably going to have to add a step to get into, and more importantly out of, the trailer easily. Or you'll need a sign

Yes. And I too would go with the drop hitch. No need to get the trailer up into the airstream to reduce fuel mileage, although any loss would be minor!

If you have the right shank for the drop I dont see any reason why you couldnt use it

Drop Hitch. Less chance of messing something up on the camper. And nothing needs to be done to the truck either. New Drop Hitch can be installed and set up with any affect on the trailer or the truck, taking either one of them out of commission if something goes wrong.
