Dropping camper on sloped driveway

If the only reason you're removing the TC is to get a sheet of plywood, just open the rear door to the TC and slide the plywood inside of the camper. Even if the door won't shut, just use a bungee cord on it to get home. Everything will be fine.

The problem is that the jack hits the block at an angle because the truck and camper are at an angle. When you raise the camper, the foot is not flat on the block and when you want level the camper the feet will want to push the block forward, which they won't be able to do. This will create stress on the jacks which could damage them or the camper.

This is how I did it one time. I made four wooden blocks that were higher in the front such that when placed on the slope they were level to the ground and level from the back blocks to the front blocks. I backed up to where I wanted the camper to sit then placed metal ramps, the kind you drive up on to change oil, behind the front wheels. When I backed up, the front of the truck raised to a level position which also leveled the camper. I positioned the blocks and lowered the camper jacks onto them then raised the camper off the truck. I pulled forward just far enough to clear the ramps, removed them and pulled away. Do the reverse to reload. It's a royal pita, but it works. Note: Mark the location of the ramps before removing them. It makes it easier to position them when reloading. Also, you can fine tune the position of the camper in the truck bed once you are on level ground. You might also do the same thing with a good heavy duty floor jack, but I've not tried that.

10 inches is a lot of slope. I don't think I would risk it. Get HD or Lowes to cut the sheet of plywood to something close to what you need and haul it in the camper galley or in the cab. Getting in and out under the camper is tricky on a slope as it is without complicating things further. My camper is on a level spot but I have to back up a slope to get under. Don't like it.

Forgetaboutit! That is too much slope in my estimation and a recipe for disaster. I'd find a more level area to work on it. The front jacks will be at an angle when they hit the ground with no way for them to straighten out once deployed.
