I use my truck for camping and hunting trips, primarily in the northwest. So that means lots of unpaved roads, and frankly some pretty hairy roads once the trailer is parked, sometimes with the added fun of mud or deep snow. DRW would be next to worthless in those conditions and on those roads. But I wouldn't ever want a trailer that required DRW because I couldn't get it to most of the spots I like to camp.
That's a long way of saying you need to take your own situation into consideration and think about what you want to pull, where you want to go, and what you want do do with your truck when it isn't attached to the trailer. For some DRW is the obvious answer, for others SRW is the obvious answer. For what I like to do and the conditions I expect my truck to handle capably, I'll stick with SRW.
