2 extra tires to buy
- An extra $300 to 400 every 50,000 miles not so bad
fenders sticking farther out (parking issues, no drive thrus, chance to hit something)
- Already been addressed -X-8 if the mirrors fit
bad in wet grass (most say 4x4 is needed due to this, im guessing tracking on rear sucks?)
- Huh ? Never have had this problem with 4 different DRW trucks
small decrease in MPG
- I get the same MPG with my DRW that I got with my SRW
unable to rotate tires (well its possible but most people dont at least)
- Just a little extra cost to dismount and mount tires- last time I did this it was $14 per wheel including balancing.
harder to add air to inside rear tires
- with extensions this is a non-issue
For 5 years I drove a dually crewcab longbed into Downtown Los Angeles each day to work. Never had a problem parking.... It was great to take clients to lunch in. The restaurants and hotels would park it out front with all the Ferraris, Roll Royces & Porsche's
