A lot of good points. Sometimes it's a bit harder to reach the 5th wheel latch. I've got a couple of scratches from my belt buckle. I use a two step stool that I keep in the back. Wet grass statement doesn't hold water. Extra rubber, extra traction, get posi-trac if your don't want 4x4.
Disadvantages to everything, some don't like 8' bed crew cabs. Only you can weight the pros and cons and make your best decision. If I was pulling a TT it would change choice.
I don't find any problems driving the big rig. There's a bit of a learning curve to adapt your comfort level. But you'd be more careful with any new rig for awhile.
