However, in a civil case, exceeding the GVWR or any of the GAWR can be brought up. There is a case involving this.
I do NOT recommend exceeding any of those ratings, or even running close to them. Don't assume some "engineering margin" built-in. It might not get you in trouble with LE on the freeway, but if in an accident insurance companies and lawyers can and will look at everything.
