My last truck (SRW 4x4) had front leafs. Yeah, 40 acre turn around! New Ram Mega Dually is longer and turns much shorter! With the mirrors in low position, the convex is vertical. This allows me to still see my tires and fenders when backing. Add the tailgate cam allows me to see the bumper hitch along with the prox sensors. Can get through most drive thru's. At work, with the exception of one row of angled parking spaces, I'm on both lines when centered. I put a weight box in the bed for winter (about 900#). Only issues was when I forgot to put her in 4WD when going up my drive with snow on it. If it starts to get deep, into 4WD and slow down. Need to back up a steep hill? 4WD. That Cummins is a hell of a traction aid ;)
