DRW regrets?

I have owned two duallys over the years and if you are going to haul a heavy load, get the dually. It is cheaper, and wiser, to have an extra heavy truck. For the down side, it is a pain to park in narrow spaces in parking lots. I currently have a SRW F-350 and I put my camper on a trailer instead of the truck. If it were going on the truck, I would get a dually again.

Thank you for all the replies as it gave wife and I a lot to discuss.

We had just decided to stay small with something like a Lance 915. This would allow us to comfortably stay with a SRW and continue our small backboard exploring.

Then all of a sudden a deal to good to be true seems to be headed our way. At 5,000# loaded, this will require a DRW truck for sure. So it looks like my wife may get her wish for a dry bath on a B.A.T. after all.

No regrets going from srw to drw. But our drw is not our daily driver vehicle either. If our truck was still our primary vehicle, we would likely still have an srw.

I need to correct my earlier post. I have one regret - I didnt get it sooner.

No regrets...but at times there are compromises. With the trend in TC's to be heavier, a dually gives you more options, capacity, and most of all safety. If I were to want a SRW then I would be looking at a pop up style TC.

My only draw back will be buying 6 tires instead of 4.

Um, it was a question *FOR* the DRW crowd, so how could they hijack it?
