DRW Stability
Been reading the SRW vs DRW threads... I have never towed with a DRW and I'm curious what everyone means by "stability". Can you describe what you're experiencing that feels more stable. To say ...

An E rated tire at 50 psi is no stiffer than a p rated tire of the same size at 50 psi. The sides walls on all these tires are 4 ply. The differences are in the tread plys. If you put 80 psi in a passenger tire it will have no more movement side to side as an LT tire at 80 psi.
Instead of going back and forth, try the following:
Go to a playground with a buried bucket loader tire (0 psi, agree?), try push on the sidewall, see if it even budges.
Now go to a truck wreck yard, find a G rated 11r22.5 tire, push on the sidewall. Should move, but still super stiff, right?
Find a P rated car tire, push on it again.
Find a bicyle tire, push on the sidewall.
All 4 tires are at 0 psi, correct? Massive difference in sidewall lateral stiffness.
If you STILL don't agree, think about how a run-flat tire works. Why can you drive on it with 0 psi, but not a normal tire? Ever felt one at the tire store to see how stiff they are?
