I have used a SRW F-350 as a daily driver for decades. A DRW vehicle seems much more specialized and great for towing if you have another vehicle for going to town.
No a DRW CC LB is not a Smart Car, but on the other hand they are not any longer than a SRW, just a bit wider at the hips. There are not many places that one can park a SRW that I can’t park my DRW.
I choose to back in to parking spaces this is better in many ways.
1. It is easier than diving in with the steering tires out rather than in.
2. Places the hips out of the way for vehicles next to you. They are not as likely to block door swing.
3. You don’t need to walk past the hips, nor do those parked next to you.
4. When leaving you have a clear view of cross traffic.
I always tuck my mirrors in also.
