I'm very comfortable towing at or slightly over my tire ratings. It's when I get a heavy load on my truck that I sometimes get a little nervous. I once had 11000 lbs of pin weight on the gooseneck ball of my F350 SRW .... I didn't have to go on a public road but, I was in 4 wheel drive pulling hard through deep snow and if something had broke I can't say I would have been real surprised.
