DIY is a lot more work, but you can build it to fit the batteries and the location it will be mounted it. 1/4" plywood with TWO layers of fiberglass and epoxy will be sufficient. You could use 1by lumber, but it will need at least 2 primer coats and 2- 4 finish coats (depending if you are spraying or brushing) of alkyd enamel. If you don't care about the finish, use 5/4" PT deck boards. You must use coated or galvanized nails or screws with PT.
Oversize the interior so that you can install 1" foam board on the bottom, sides and in between the batteries. I would also put some drain holes in the bottom and so vent holes near the top.
