Dual 6-volt battery box for TC wheel well

I am a total newbie to 6-volt batteries, but I am planning for the upcoming year to put two 6-volt batteries in one of my wheel wells..What is the best way..with a battery box or homemade?

My dimensions for room is 33" long and 10"ish wide with some leeway and height of course is not an issue..

Will an inexpensive plastic(I assume) work in protecting the batteries?

    Don't think you will find space in your wheel wells for batteries.
    Unless you drive lifted 4x4 ;)
    I think good space for them would be front of the bed on side of the camper.
    Just bottom holding bracket would be all you need for securing the batteries and figure out how to run the cables.
    You can always use boat battery box for more safety.
    My Lance has door at floor level - very handy for such applications.
