Dual air bags
So I've been thinking'... (uh oh)
I carry a LOT of weight in my Ram 3500 dually, and I have a set of airbags with in-cab controls. They work great. But I have to run them at very high pressure when loaded heavy and I think they put an awful lot of stress on themselves, their mounting brackets & bolts, and the frame where they attach.
It seems to me that if I mount a pair of bags on each side, I could cut the stresses on each in half and run less air pressure too. There's room to do it.
Have any of you done that?
