Dual battery set-up using chassis battery
Has anyone incorporated their truck's OEM 12v battery with their camper's battery(ies)? I'm brainstorming a way to do this and would appreciate some input. I'm thinking that if I run large (1/0g) ...

Some thoughts.
Car batteries don't do well when discharged. You'd be better off adding a second battery even if you installed in your truck bed or underneath. You'd have a hard time running a AC on a 2000w inverter. Many generators won't run them.
Better is to reduce your 12V power consumption. Switch to LEDs and reduce other appliances that use 12V and then add insulation, mesh shade, and window tinting to reduce the felt heat.
