Toyo MT's are a great tire for handling heavy loads, and especially off-roading.
But if I didn't off-road very much, or didn't need the extra load capacity in a 35x12.5x17, I'd run AT's.
AT's are a bit quieter, and fewer voids in the tread means better on-road traction.
I wouldn't get BFG AT's for a truck with a live front axle. While I ran them without issue in the past,
Ford and Dodge forums are filled with threads about "death wobble" that was magically cured when BFG AT's were swapped out. I'm not saying they cause death wobble, but they can be a contributing factor.
