Dually swing out a question

Well I got the mod finished the other day and this is what I did. If you look closely to the right of the anodized bracket for the swing out you well see 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock that is .25"X 1.5". I ordered some longer bolts and received them. The originals were 1" long and the new ones are 1.5" long. I then drilled the aluminum in the same locations as the bracket and then bolted it to the camper. This gives me right at 99" width which well give me between 1.25 to 1.50" clearance on each side. I well try this and see how it works out, it should not cause any great stress on the jacks or the mounts on the camper.
