We just bought a 2017 F350 dually CC LB 6.7 4X4. We pull a 5th wheel that weighs about 14,000 lb. This is our first dually. We've heard that tire pressure doesn't need to be as high as our old truck. So we are wondering what pressures you all run in your truck, or what you recommend for our truck.

I had a 2004 F350 CC LB DRW 4x4, don't recall the brand of tires, but seem to recall the max inflation per tire sidewall was 120psi. I usually ran at that level when towing my then 16,000# Fifth wheel, dropped to about 100 empty. All FWIW..

My dually door sticker calls for 65 psi in the rear (70 in the front), which is what I run with/without the trailer. My toy hauler is 5,000 lbs heavier than yours and has a hitch weight of 3500 lbs. 65 psi works fine for my setup. Go with what your manual or door sticker says.

You will get many answers even ones you didn’t even ask. Here is the truth unless you want to blindly go by the door sticker. Load your truck and RV with everything!!! This includes fuel and passengers. Go to your nearest truck stop that has CAT Scales. Weigh your trucks front and rear axle then each RV axle. With these weights you can PROPERLY inflate ALL your tires. Look up the tire size and load range weight/inflation chart for your tire. For the front tires add 10psi to what the chart says the psi should be. For the rears add 5psi. You will get the best possible tread wear, traction and ride when towing. Solo leave the fronts and reduce the rears to 35psi.

I suggest following the manufacturer’s recommendation.

^^^ What Ron Said! FYI no duallie needs more that 65 in the rear wheels. If the fronts are 17" tires and have max load at 80 psi, I would running them at 80 PSI 24/7/365. With my SRW I leave the 18" fronts at just over 60 PSI and vary the rears for empty at 42-44 psi to 65-80 depending on load. That is 80 with the 5th wheel and around 65 with the bumper pull.
