I had a performance system on my older 2000 5.3 a few years ago. Even though I am a muscle car type guy... I abosolutly hated it. When towing it was very loud, no performance increase that I could tell, and my mpgs dropped. Now some can have different experiences then I did but that's mine. That being said I won't be putting one on my current truck, only if I go back to another muscle car.
