Hey, if he wants to do it, let him do it. Not sure what the 2008's are like, but in the 90's and early 2000's, the cheap way was to replace the stock single muffler with a 2-chamber Flowmaster with a double outlet on the muffler itself. The sound is great, depending on your point of view. But, if you don't like the sound, then don't do it.
