dumb generator question
Can you run a generator in the rain? Or should it be covered?

SkiMore, the generator is sitting on a mount I fabricated. The mount itself is mounted to Unistrut, which in turn is fastened to the rear Camper Jack mounts. The ladder carries no generator weight.
The extra gas is a three gallon boat fuel tank. It sits on a lawn chair rack which hooks to the ladder. Both are held in place with two bungee cords. One is enough, but the second bungee serves as a safety.
I have been running this way since about 2005, for thousands of miles.
