its great to not only dump but flush grey and black tanks couple times after a trip.
also makes pack up and load up to leave campground a lot faster. if we are at a fhu site i usually dump grey tanks to reduce weight. i always like black tank to be full before dumping. if we are at a state park for 2 or 3 days with water electric at campsite and community dump station i will haul everything home and dump
Took my backhoe and dug a hole, put in a new septic tank and leach field and been using that for at least 10 years now. Leach field goes right under the garden. Get some really nice sweet corn and tomatoes....lol
I dump at home 90% of the time. I have a Portable Macerator I bought on Amazon. I do it at my convenience and I can make sure everything is really cleaned out. One of these and a 3/4" I.D. Garden hose and you're in business.
I dug to the sewer line, cut the line, installed a tee and riser, poured concrete, and made my own dump station. But if anyone asks it is a sewer clean out, yeah, that's it, a sewer clean out.
I installed one in the clean out next to the house I used to live in. The trailer was parked beside the house and the clean out was just under the trailer near the the left rear tire. The tank dump connection is 3 feet in back of the rear tire. Perfect. I made an adapter to screw into the cleanout that has a bayonet fitting and twist on bayonet cap on the top installed to the correct height to fit under the cast iron clean out cover I purchased. It's the same cast iron cover the city installs out at the curb. When dumping I flip the cover lid over, remove the bayonet cap and connect the dump hose. No spills.
I moved but the trailer is parked in the back yard at the rear fence and the cleanout is at the front of the house. In the short term I'll reuse the fitting I made and will need to use my 25 gallon tote, but I plan on burying some 3 inch pipe from the front of the house to the back corner of the house a few inches deep. I'll need to buy another 40 feet of dump hose to reach the rest of the way.
