I know nothing about diesels but we have had issues with gaskets going in early 2000s Chevy due to dexcool antifreeze eating away gaskets. Happened to two Buicks. Our mechanic friend along with his manager all said Chevy gaskets and dexcool helped with there bussiness addition.

OP sorry to hear, I have been there but with cheaper gassers.
