Sorry for your troubles. Best thing is to do some calling around and see who can get you the best price on a GM crate motor. No matter where you buy it the warranty will be the same. The GM and Ford engines are what they call throw away engines. Go to the dealer and they will tell you the same thing.

I would not buy a junk yard engine you will probably end up with the same problem.
