Dang I can think of three experts that haven't shown up yet! But it does sound like your getting some good advice.
There is this one member who had a similar event with his 6.0 PSD. Everyone was telling him to get a new crate etc. After lifting the cab off and getting it apart is was IIRC something really small like a AC bolt. Hope it works out as something small and easy on your wallet.
