Duramax bites the dust - Blown head gasket @ 102K miles

it looks like this turned into the usual which diesel is better..between my family and friends we have at least one of every available diesel pick up engine from the last 15yrs they all have problems..to the op i would take it to a good shop that specilaizes in diesels and have it checked out since it wasn't running when it filled with water the lower end should be fine..plus it sounds nice enough to be worth fixing
