I am going to rebut your examples of the 6.7 head gasket problems when all your examples are of people that have done deletes and turned up the engine.
Duramax/GM do make a good product and they really back up their products as I have said before they replaced 3 6.5 long blocks for me no problem.
That is why I really recommend the OP look for the best price on a factory NEW LONGBLOCK and have a warranty and a new engine for not a lot more than the 5 grand he was quoted for fixing his.
