Truck's back in the driveway.
Here's the rundown:
New C grade gaskets with ARP studs. Two cylinders affected with coolant got honed. Cleaned and adjusted all valves, cleaned a ton of gunk out of the intake plenum. Cleaned and adjusted all injectors. Replaced all radiator and heater hoses, serpentine belt, worn fuel lines and vacuum hoses.
Since the motor was getting freshened up, I had all 4 headlight assemblies replaced, since the Florida sun had taken it's toll on them over the last 9 years.
Lot's more power and, on the way home, mileage was a full 4 mpg better than before - Interstate driving at 65 mph went from 25 mpg up to 29 mpg.
Final bill - $5700.
Not an expert but what about honing two cylinders with the pistons still in the holes?
Glad you got your ride back!
