Of course all trucks are more powerful than those of yesteryear.... but even in the old days, some were faster than others.:B
Are we done with the boyz will be boyz comments!
Why can't some of you just admit, ALL brands of trucks, cars etc that we drive on the road are better than when some of us were teens in the 50's, 60's and 70's! Even 10 years ago models were lower in all things comparable to todays models!

"Look at any GOOD diesel that has lasted many, many miles and you'll find is was an inline 6."
Not limited to Diesels. Ford 300 I-6, Chrysler 225 I-6, Jeep 4.0 I-6, GM 250 I-6 to name a few!
I like to keep it straight, the other two swing both ways !
Back when I had Ford diesels, there was an F250 pickup with a 7.3 in the shop that had over 1.3 million mile on it and I know of several other very high mileage 7.3s. It's just a shame they don't make them any more.
I jumped ship and bought a 2015 2500 Ram with the Cummins. Best truck I've ever owned.
They do make em still and you bought one recently! Haha - whjcoExplorer

Does Arizona not have a points system for speeding tickets? - HuntindogExplorerOf course I won. A Sunday drive is just another excuse that losers use.

Yes but guys have been racing since the first caveman rose up on two legs. Then it became horses, bikes, cars, airplanes.... It is in our DNA, and yes it MATTERS.... Any man that says it doesn't has either turned in his man card, or is trying to make a rational excuse as to why he lost.... He would much prefer to be the winner.:B
Currently all the big 3 diesels have IMHO more than adequate power for the vast majority of us towing trailers for 5th wheels. When we went looking for our 04 and then for our 2015, advertized power was near the bottom of my list. I knew all of them would be more than adequate, so we decided more on comfort, options etc.
I think we were on I-17 and you passed me and thought you won!!!! Little did you know, we were out for a Sunday drive with the trailer.
Could just be a Phoenix of sorts. - Me_AgainExplorer IIIDoes Arizona not have a points system for speeding tickets?
