If man made it it can & will fail @ some point. Just buy & drive what suits you. What do I care? One friend has a wonderful D/A 07 classic. Spends lots of time in the shop. Gremlins that trick the techs. When it runs it really does well. Another has a Cummins and loves it. Hell, one guy has a 454 2500 and is happy and slow, lol. I have a well tuned 7.3 that I love. We all go together and have a blast. One of my friends has a 99 7.3 with twin pumps, 38r and big single shots and around 400+ rwhp, 257K on it. we all make it to camp and make it home.
