Surprised by the Ford milage. The 10 speed is looking good so far.
Under 200 miles per gallon for DEF? Doesn't seem right.
Could be similar to the Ram trucks that consume more DEF. It could be they are now doing more DEF and less EGR?- ktmrfsExplorer II

agreed on the DEF useage. DEF consumption should be around 1 gallon/100 gallons of fuel. Can vary some, but 200 miles/gallon of DEF???? nope. something is amiss. - GrooverExplorer III still want to see a direct comparison between the diesels and the gas engines.
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIThe fuel/DEF fill can't be very accurate.
They need to take their time and fill to the top each time but someone would have a hissie-fit if a drop of fuel were spilled.
So both trucks here bouncing around a lot. If they are using the RAM that they were looking at in the parking lot it appeared to have a standard sprung rear instead of the rear air. Would have been nice to have the rear air to see if it helped with ride. - ShinerBockExplorerNice job by the Ford. Still slow and a fuel hog compared to mine, but good job for a stock truck.
- ppineExplorer IITowing heavy equipment at 1700 rpms makes no sense.
Neither does 6 mpg. - TravlingmanExplorer IISurprised by the Ford milage. The 10 speed is looking good so far.
